About Sahil

Hi,I am Sahil Roy, a first year mathematics undergraduate student at RKMV College,and I'm deeply passionate about math. It's not just a subject for me, it's a discipline and a way of life for me ( I know I sound too philosophical, but I really mean it). I have always seen many of my classmates go through a lot of problems in understanding the fundamentals of mathematics, and I myself faced some challenges in grasping new concepts and applying them. School was never sufficient for this, and it won't ever be, the reason being school teachers cant focus on so many kids in just a few classes. So this is why I genuinely want to help my juniors with the problems I and my friends have faced. Also few teachers make the subject boring, and sometimes teach a bit wrongly too,which is a major problem. So I wish to teach the students correctly and make the subject as intuitive and easy as possible so that they don't feel pressurised. And lastly I've seen the patterns of competitive exams and the ways of it, so I feel I'm the right guy to help build concepts and at the same time prepare them for the heavily competitive exams.
All, for the love of math!!

About the lesson

1) Focus on concepts rather than mugging up.

2) Heavy focus on analytical topics, and every part will be taught in depth, so that the student understands the subject fully, the why and how of the subject, so that later they don't suffer due to lack of proper knowledge and understanding. This approach will make a huge difference, and will surely benefit the student in all his/her exams and tests too.
3)Practice papers, DPPs, test sheets, and preparation for junior olympiads too.
4) Ample doubt clearing classes.
5) Flexible class timings.
*since I am a student who just passed out of school,I understand the problems one goes through in high school mathematics,how schools are insufficient to provide the right structure needed, and what students find difficult to understand, more importantly why it's hard for them. Thus, I can provide a structure to help them with those problems, create a deep understanding of mathematics, and at the same time, not be too superficial and prepare them right for their exams and school tests too.
