About Manuela

Hello! I’m Manuela, a recent Editorial Design graduate from Norwich University of the Arts, now based in Norwich. I’m half-Venezuelan and half-French, with a deep passion for both design and languages. For some time, I’ve been exploring how to merge these passions using language not just as inspiration for visual communication but also as a means to foster a community where ideas, culture, and creativity can cross borders. Having learnt several languages myself (a little brag!), I understand firsthand the challenge of mastering a second or third language. I truly believe that language learning expands your worldview and deepens your cultural connections. Communicating in someone else's language is incredibly rewarding and gratifying both for you and your interlocutor, reflecting effort, empathy, and dedication. I’m happy to teach my language in person or explore the advantages of online tutoring. I enjoy connecting with diverse individuals and customising my approach to meet each learner’s needs.

About the lesson

I like to start with a get-to-know-you session where you'll share your goals and learning needs for Spanish or French. From there, we'll tailor our sessions to your aspirations. My sessions are creative and dynamic, incorporating music, videos, and conversation and always delving into themes that are both relevant and interesting to you. Whether you want to improve your conversation skills or start from scratch, we will create a space to converse and collaborate, maximising our time together. Merci & Hasta luego!
