About Luke
I'm a First Class Chemistry graduate currently training as a secondary science teacher. I’m passionate about making science feel less intimidating and more meaningful — whether by helping students build confidence in their abilities or see the subject’s real-world relevance. I’ve taught across Key Stages 3 to 5 in school settings and understand how to break down complex ideas in a way that feels manageable and clear. I believe every student can succeed in science with the right support, and I’m committed to helping them find the learning approach that works best for them. Whether a student is aiming to catch up, keep up, or go beyond, I offer calm, friendly, and structured support that’s shaped around their individual goals and learning style.

I offer personalised science tutoring for students at KS3 and GCSE in all three sciences, and A-level Chemistry. Lessons are typically 60 minutes long and designed around each student’s needs — from building core understanding to boosting exam confidence. I adapt each session to suit the student’s learning style, whether that means clear step-by-step explanations, visual aids, or targeted exam strategies. My approach is calm, flexible, and centred around making science accessible and engaging. I’m most familiar with the AQA specification for GCSE and A-level and use this to help students feel prepared and confident.
