About Tonya
I earned my B.S. from South Carolina State University in 1994 in Business Administration with a concentration in Management, and I used my degree to work in Human Services for over 15 years. Teaching is my 2nd career, and I have been doing this for 9 years. I'm currently finishing up my Master's in Elementary Education with a graduation date of April 2027. I love teaching math and will continue until I retire.

I focus on students using manipulatives, real life scenarios, and strategies to enhance student growth and development. I incorporate technology and games into the learning to keep students engaged.
