About Maisie
I am a 20 year old university student who is about to finish the second year of university. I am studying to be a primary school teacher. Since leaving high school myself I have continuously studied cognitive development, psychology, sociology and always been involved with jobs that require care, such as my latest job as a nursery teacher. I have a passion for allowing everyone I teach to have the opportunity to be the best version of themselves that they can be. I want to encourage people and make them feel confident in whatever skill it is that they want to develop.

I am aware of how overwhelming learning a new skill can be, this is why I want to ensure that every student that I tutor is given the opportunity to learn at their own pace and in their own way. Every person has a preferred learning method, whether that is visible learning or practical learning, this is why before I begin to tutor I will establish with all of my students where their strengths and weaknesses are within the topic, as well as the learning techniques that work better for them. I welcome a safe space for people to learn and ask any questions they may have.
