About Olusola

I am a highly experienced and dedicated educator with over 25 years of professional teaching and academic leadership experience. Over the years, I have worked with students of different abilities and learning styles, helping them build confidence, improve understanding, and achieve strong academic results. I have taught and prepared students for IGCSE, WAEC, and NECO examinations, and I understand what examiners expect. My lessons are well-structured, calm, and focused, creating a supportive environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and learning at their own pace. Beyond subject knowledge, I place strong emphasis on discipline, clarity, and consistency. Students are guided step by step, with clear explanations, regular feedback, and practical strategies that help them stay organized and motivated. I am professional, patient, and committed to each learner’s progress. My goal is not only to help students pass exams, but to help them understand their subjects properly and develop confidence in their own ability to learn.

About the lesson

My Approach to Tutoring I believe good teaching starts with understanding the student. Before diving into content, I take time to understand how each learner thinks, what they struggle with, and what their goals are. My lessons are clear, structured, and practical, with a strong focus on helping students truly understand the subject — not just memorize it. How I Teach I explain concepts in simple terms, relate them to real-life situations, and guide students step by step until they feel confident. I use past questions, examples, discussion, and problem-solving to help students think critically and apply what they’ve learned. For IGCSE and WAEC, I pay close attention to the syllabus and exam requirements, while also helping students develop strong exam technique. Lessons are interactive, and students are encouraged to ask questions, think aloud, and challenge ideas. I adapt my teaching style to suit each learner’s pace and ability. Lesson Length Most lessons are 60 minutes, which allows enough time for explanation, practice, and feedback. Longer sessions can be arranged when preparing for exams or covering difficult topics. My Experience I have over 25 years of teaching experience, working with secondary school and senior secondary students. I have prepared students for IGCSE, WAEC, and NECO examinations and have also trained teachers and supported schools in improving academic standards.
