About Aditya
I have over 2 years of tutoring both college and high school students in college-level courses. I also received a 780 on my SAT Math Score twice and feel very comfortable adjusting lessons based on the student. As a College Senior, I find that I'm better able to tutor college and high school students because being around the students' age group allows me to relate to how the students feel when they are confused and allows me to use better examples during tutoring sessions for the students to understand a concept.

I understand what type of questions the student has trouble with and what questions they succeed in. First, I go over a couple of questions about the concepts they know because it is good to instill confidence in them by being correct on the first questions we go over. Then, I ask them to explain what exactly is confusing them on the concepts they are unsure of and then I go ahead and create an example or a sample problem where I use simple numbers so it is easy to follow and then I apply that to the practice problem they were struggling with so they can apply what we just learned directly to their practice. What sets me apart as a tutor is that I observe how each student is able to comprehend and learn and I try to tailor the sessions to them for their own benefit. My end goal in a tutoring session is that the student feels confident to be able to do practice problems or take an exam without my help anymore. I have experience tutoring high school and college students but I can easily adjust depending on the client.
