About Nurse Patrice
I’m Patrice, a Nurse Therapist and Registered Mental Health Nurse with over 12 years of clinical psychiatric experience and 17 years in healthcare. I’m a senior clinician currently practising within the NHS, where I supervise learners and junior staff and facilitate teaching sessions and seminars across clinical teams and third-sector organisations. My background includes therapeutic work and supporting others at different stages of their careers. I’m passionate about helping people develop confidence, professional judgement and a clearer understanding of mental health nursing.

My lessons support BSc and MSc nursing students, as well as post-qualified mental health nurses. For students, I help with clinical concepts, reflective work, risk assessment, placement confidence and structuring ideas for assignments and discussion. For qualified nurses, I support clinical confidence, communication, decision-making and NHS Band 5–7 interview preparation. Sessions are structured, practical and supportive, working step by step.

Perfect! Patrice is highly professional and demonstrates a strong understanding of the coursework I am studying. Her teaching approach is patient and never rushed, which allows me to fully grasp complex topics at my own pace.
