About Martin
Graduating with a BA Modern Music gave me the framework to organize the chaos of sound I discovered while teaching myself from old cassette tapes. Structured theory is actually a liberating tool for the self-taught musician. I have spent 13 years refining these techniques.
My work revolves around helping teens and advanced players build massive walls of sound. I also guide absolute beginners toward their first clean chords. Kids find my methods approachable while grade exam candidates appreciate the clarity.
I enjoy hearing a student finally dial in that perfect heavy fuzz pedal setting. It sounds great.

Progress moves at the speed of your ears. Feedback is constant.
I prioritize listening over lecturing during our time together. Beginners start with basic strumming patterns and acoustic technique to ground their rhythm. Advanced players can shift toward complex improvisation and soloing or deep theory applications. Power chords and barre chords form the base for later experimentation.
