About Rhea
I’ve been teaching singing for over 10 years, and I hold an **Advanced Diploma in Singing** with a deep love for sharing music with young learners. My passion is helping children and early teens discover their voice in a way that feels fun and natural. I use **games, movement, and storytelling** to teach pitch, rhythm, and vocal basics, turning each lesson into an adventure. I love working with **folk songs, Disney favourites, and musicals**, because they’re familiar, joyful, and perfect for building technique without feeling like “work.” My lessons are playful but purposeful—I make sure every activity teaches something valuable while keeping kids excited to learn. I focus on more than just singing notes; I help students grow in **confidence, listening skills, and expressive ability.** Together, we explore age-appropriate techniques that keep their voices healthy while unlocking their creativity. Every voice is unique, and I celebrate that uniqueness in every lesson. My teaching method is designed to help every performer step onto the stage with confidence and energy. I focus on **breath control, diction, and posture**, because these are the foundations of a strong and captivating performance. From the very beginning, we work on simple exercises to control nerves and build vocal stamina, gradually layering in more advanced techniques. Stage confidence doesn’t happen overnight, so I use **stage presence drills, curated song choices, and movement exercises** that help students feel natural and expressive in front of an audience. We practise microphone technique—how to hold it, how to move with it, and how to use it as part of the performance. Students learn how to connect with their listeners, making every lyric and gesture feel authentic. I incorporate **video feedback sessions**, allowing students to see themselves the way the audience will, and use that insight to refine every detail. To support long-term growth, I recommend vocal stamina apps and tools that track progress between lessons. These resources keep practice fun, measurable, and motivating. Every lesson is about more than just singing—it’s about building self-belief and stage charisma. Whether performing as part of an ensemble or leading the show, students discover how to own the spotlight with presence and poise. By combining skill-building with creative exploration, I help them not just perform, but truly shine.
