About Kanchan
I’m Kanchan Dubey, a singer and vocal teacher from Gwalior. I teach kids, beginners and hobby singers with a focus on Hindustani classical basics, sur, voice training, Bollywood songs, ghazals, bhajans and light music.
My teaching approach is patient, practical and personalised. I want my students not only to learn songs, but also to understand their voice and develop confidence as singers.
Whether you're starting from zero or simply want to sing better, you're welcome to join me.

My classes are personalised according to the student's age, experience and musical goals.
A typical class may include:
• Warm-up and basic voice exercises
• Swar and alankar practice
• Pitch and sur correction
• Taal and rhythm exercises
• Learning songs step by step
• Understanding lyrics, expression and pronunciation
• Practice assignments for the week
For beginners, I focus on building a strong foundation first. For students who already sing, we work on pitch, voice control, expression, confidence and performance skills.
