About Poppea
I am a vocal and performance graduate of Trinity Laban. I perform all around London with jazz ensembles, pop groups and Latin bands. I compose and arrange and cherish a deep passion for music theory. Music theory is often taught in such a boring way, but it's actually a great tool to enhance your songwriting and give you a deeper understanding of music!
I do not believe in traditional conservatoire education where the student is only allowed to learn by the book. Let's discover who you are as an individual vocalist!

Hi there!
My name is Poppea. I've been doing music all my life so I understand that no matter how joyous music is, it can be just as stressful sometimes. My goal is to create an atmosphere in our lesson in which you feel completely comfortable to be as loud, silly or vulnerable as you want to be.
Let's make a lesson plan together and decide on personal goals. What would you like to focus on? Performance, songwriting, stage presence, technique, study routines, pop & jazz repertoire? I want to motivate you to become the best singer you can be without stressing you out if you haven't practised for a while, we are all human at the end of the day. I'm excited to meet you!

I also work at a primary school so children are more than welcome!
