About Cora

I am a dedicated singing instructor with six years of experience and a Bachelor of Music in Musical Theater Voice. My training spans Classical, Pop, Rock, and Country styles, allowing me to guide students across a wide range of genres. I focus on developing strong ear skills, harmony understanding, improvisation, and music theory to support confident and versatile singers.

In my lessons, I provide personalized coaching tailored to each student’s voice and goals. I emphasize vocal control, helping students strengthen breath support, pitch accuracy, and tone quality. Musical expression is central to my teaching, guiding learners to connect emotionally with every performance.

I also focus on stage readiness, helping students build confidence, presence, and effective performance techniques for auditions, concerts, or recordings. Lessons combine technical exercises, repertoire, and creative exploration to make learning engaging and rewarding.

About the lesson

My singing lessons approach focuses on building strong music literacy and sight-singing skills for both ensemble performers and crossover artists. I emphasize reading musical notation, interval recognition, rhythm exercises, and harmony building to create confident and versatile singers.

Students work on interval training and rhythm drills to strengthen their ear-mind-voice connection, allowing them to accurately hear and reproduce pitches and rhythms. I incorporate sight-singing apps, rhythm trainers, and notation tools to make practice interactive and engaging.

For ensemble singers, steady practice develops precise pitch accuracy, blending, and the ability to follow complex harmonies within orchestral or choral settings. Crossover artists benefit by learning to adapt to diverse genres, improving improvisation, and connecting theory with creative performance.

Lessons balance structured exercises with repertoire, ensuring skills are applied in musical contexts. I guide students to internalize rhythm, read notation confidently, and perform harmonies with clarity and expression.
