About Brielle
Hi, I am a singing tutor with over 8 years of experience and a Bachelor of Music in Contemporary Voice. My specialty is helping singers develop powerful, confident rock and pop vocals without damaging their voice in the process. I care just as much about vocal longevity as I do about a great sound.
I teach belting technique, mixed voice, stylistic riffs, and stage presence for contemporary genres like rock, pop, and alternative. Many of my students are gigging musicians or aspiring performers who need a voice that holds up through long rehearsals and live shows. We also work on warm-ups and cool downs so the voice recovers properly after intense performances.
I once coached a rock vocalist who was losing his voice after almost every show due to unsafe belting habits. We rebuilt his technique from the ground up, focusing on breath support and efficient power instead of raw force. Within weeks, he was hitting the same big notes with far less strain and no more lost voice the next morning.

My teaching approach is built around strong, powerful contemporary vocals. Many students want to belt confidently without straining their voice, and that balance is exactly what we work on together. We start with breath support, since a strong belt always begins from proper airflow, not the throat.
From there, we move into mixed voice and belting technique, so high notes stay powerful without sounding forced. Vocal riffs and stylistic ornamentation get plenty of attention too, since rock and pop styles rely heavily on personal flair. I also work on stage energy, since a great rock or pop vocal is as much about attitude as it is about pitch.
Some students already have loud, powerful voices but push too hard and end up straining, so I teach them how to get that same power more efficiently. Others have great control but sound too polished or safe for the genre, so I help them loosen up and add grit and edge. Every voice needs a slightly different path to that same powerful sound.
Big, bold vocals should never come at the cost of vocal health. Let's build a voice that can perform night after night.
