About Kate

I am a dedicated and results-driven French tutor with 18+ years of experience guiding students across all levels, having taught approximately 150–200 learners. My approach focuses on personalised learning, allowing me to create lesson plans that align with each student’s pace and objectives.

I use a mix of structured teaching and interactive methods, including guided conversations, role-playing, and real-life applications, to make lessons engaging and practical. I emphasise building strong grammar and pronunciation skills while encouraging students to communicate confidently.

With a patient and supportive teaching style, I create an environment where students feel comfortable learning and improving. My aim is to help learners achieve fluency and long-term success in French.

About the lesson

I adopt a dynamic and adaptable approach to teaching French, guided by flexibility, empathy, compassion, communication, and collaboration. My lessons are designed to adjust to each student’s pace and needs, ensuring that they can learn effectively while staying engaged.

By practising empathy and compassion, I create a safe and encouraging environment where students feel confident to take risks and improve. Communication is a key focus in my sessions, with regular speaking and listening activities that build fluency over time.
