About Vina

With 9 years of teaching piano, I have worked with students from diverse backgrounds, ranging from young beginners to advanced learners and from school children to working professionals. My teaching philosophy centres on patience, encouragement, and personalised guidance, ensuring each student feels supported and motivated to reach their full potential.

I have helped students perform confidently in recitals, participate in competitions, and successfully complete graded exams, achieving recognition and personal growth. Lessons include technique, sight-reading, music theory, improvisation, and performance skills, all adapted to the student’s level, goals, and interests. I focus on combining structured practice with creative exploration to make piano learning a fulfilling, meaningful, and inspiring journey.

About the lesson

My teaching method centres on compassion, understanding, and encouragement. I believe learning should be a positive and motivating experience for every student. In piano lessons, I combine structured exercises with creative practice, helping students build technical skills while enjoying music.

I maintain clear communication, explaining concepts in simple terms and encouraging students to ask questions and share their goals. Supportiveness is key—I help students overcome challenges and celebrate every achievement.

I use the same approach for other subjects I teach, such as music theory and composition, ensuring students feel confident and inspired. My aim is to nurture both skill and a lifelong love for learning.
