About Sarah
I am a dedicated Piano tutor with over 12 years of teaching experience, working with school students, college students, and working professionals. My passion is helping students learn Piano in a way that is enjoyable, practical, and easy to understand.
My teaching approach focuses on creating a strong foundation in music while keeping lessons engaging and student-centered. Every student has different goals, so I customize lessons according to their learning style, pace, and interests. Whether you are learning for personal enjoyment, academic purposes, or performance, I provide the guidance needed to help you succeed.
My lessons include piano techniques, scales, chords, rhythm exercises, sight reading, ear training, music theory, improvisation, and performance preparation. I also teach students how to practice effectively so they can continue improving outside the classroom.
Apart from Piano, I teach keyboard skills, music theory, and musical listening techniques. My goal is to help students become confident musicians who understand music deeply and can express themselves creatively through their playing.
I believe learning music should be inspiring and rewarding. Through patience, encouragement, and structured learning, I help students achieve steady progress and develop a lifelong love for music.

My teaching philosophy is simple: every student deserves lessons that are encouraging, enjoyable, and easy to understand. I teach piano using communication, creativity, flexibility, and practical learning so students can develop both technical skills and confidence.
The learning journey starts with posture, hand positioning, finger exercises, rhythm practice, note reading, and music theory. Once these basics become comfortable, students move on to scales, chords, arpeggios, dynamics, pedal techniques, sight reading, and expressive performance.
I believe learning should be interactive. Students are encouraged to ask questions, participate in discussions, and understand the purpose behind every exercise. This helps them become independent learners instead of depending only on memorization.
Lessons include songs from various genres according to each student's interests. I also introduce simple improvisation and accompaniment to strengthen creativity and musical expression.
Besides piano, I teach music theory, keyboard techniques, rhythm training, ear training, performance preparation, sight reading, and music appreciation. These subjects improve overall musicianship and help students perform with confidence.
My aim is to create a supportive classroom where students enjoy every lesson, improve step by step, and develop a lasting passion for piano and music.
