About Uge
I am an enthusiastic piano educator with 15 years of professional experience and a record of teaching around 300 students. My learners include teenagers preparing for academic programmes, college students pursuing music seriously, and adults exploring piano as a hobby.
My philosophy is centred on understanding and consistency. I emphasise proper technique, including posture, hand balance, finger independence, timing, articulation, and dynamic control. I also integrate music theory into practical lessons so students gain complete musical knowledge.
Lessons are structured yet flexible. Beginners focus on foundational exercises and simple pieces, while advanced students refine interpretation and performance techniques. I also help students overcome stage fear and develop performance confidence.
Many of my students have shown remarkable progress and achieved strong examination results. Watching them perform confidently and proudly is deeply rewarding. I strive to create a supportive environment where students feel motivated to achieve their best.

My approach to piano teaching combines communication, creativity, flexibility, and structured learning. Piano requires discipline and patience, so I guide students step by step in building technique and musical understanding.
I clearly demonstrate scales, chords, and rhythm exercises, ensuring correct hand position and coordination. Communication allows students to understand their progress and receive helpful feedback.
Creativity encourages them to explore different styles and express emotions through their playing. Flexibility ensures that I adjust lesson difficulty and pace according to each learner’s ability. I also guide students in building effective practice routines and setting realistic goals.
Along with piano, I teach music theory, ear development, and harmony studies. My aim is to help students become skilled and motivated musicians.
