About Olivia
I am a dedicated, passionate and motivated individual. I have excelled in both my undergraduate and postgraduate degrees. In 2017, I graduated with First Class Honours in BSc Sociology and Criminology, attaining a mark of 80 for my undergraduate dissertation. I have finished my MSc in cybercrime and intellignce and achieved a distiction classifcation. In all moudles I achieved a first class mark with 78% for my dissertation.
My research interests are mainly centred around, yet not limited to, Critical Terrorism studies – specifically on the concept of 'radicalisation', national health policies, and gender. I start my PhD in this field in September 2019. My goal is to become an established academic delivering an impact upon counterterrorism teaching, policy and practice.

I am able to provide tutoring on a wide range of social science topics such as: criminology, sociology, intelligence practice, health and social care, cybercrime, dissertation and thesis guidance, research methods, design and ethics, proofreading and general English language help, critical thinking and, critical and counter-terrorism studies. The level ranges from GCSE - Postgraduate.
I fully understand that education assessments/exams can be a daunting and stressful experience. Therefore, I strived to make tutoring sessions as fun and rewarding possible. Firstly, I will listen to what you want to achieve, whether it is struggling with a topic altogether, or perhaps you can't seem to get from that B to an A or from a 2:1 to a first. I have been in both situations and will strive to help you, calmly and simply. I am enthusiastic about academia and fully believe that everyone can achieve in their education.
