I am a St. Louis native, went to MICDS, and now study in WashU. I completed Calculus AB in freshman year, and I promise you that I can make seemingly daunting subjects like math or physics seem super intuitive. I'll make sure you feel in control of your academic performance.

My lesson plan includes a lot of hands-on work and struggling through the problems. I want to learn how you think through each problem, so I can teach you in a way you will never forget!
A typical lesson plan is:
1) going over what you find most challenging
2) finding problems that tackle these areas
3) you starting them/writing the process on your own first
4) me helping you finish it if you get stuck
5) finally me quickly showing you how I may think about it differently -> so you have more options when facing a similar problem in the future
I think it's really easy as a tutor to not realize that people learn differently, and push your method as the "right way." I promise as a tutor that I will help you understand the material the way you best understand it.
I teach middle and high school students! I enjoy math (from algebra to calculus), physics, and biochemistry.
