About Summer
Hi! I’m a native Mandarin speaker living in the United States.
I help beginners speak practical Mandarin for real-life situations like daily conversations, travel, and shopping.
My lessons are focused on speaking, not memorizing grammar. We practice step by step so you can start speaking naturally from the very first lesson.
I can explain things in simple English when needed, so learning is easy and clear.

* Repetition + sentence substitution to build natural speaking habits
* Role-play scenarios (restaurant, airport, daily life situations)
* Guided conversation practice where I help you speak step by step
* Simple English explanations when needed to make learning clear and easy
My goal is to help you start speaking Mandarin naturally, even as a beginner.
2. Typical lesson plan (30–60 min)
Each lesson is structured but flexible:
① Warm-up (5–10 min)
* Simple conversation practice
* Review of previous vocabulary
② Core speaking practice (15–25 min)
* Daily life scenario (e.g. ordering food, asking directions)
* Role-play with teacher guidance
③ Guided correction (10–15 min)
* Fix pronunciation and sentence structure naturally
* Learn more natural expressions (not textbook phrases)
④ Free speaking practice (5–10 min)
* Open conversation to build confidence
* Encourage spontaneous speaking
Homework (optional)
* Short speaking practice or sentence review
