About Andrew
I began working as a tutor in 2014 with a program called AVID Tutors, which also was supported by our local Boys and Girls Club. My focus on trying to improve academic performance comes from trying to help students understand the larger world.

I use metacognitive strategies as well as having students understand applications behind the science or theory. I also work with parents to help set goals for the students and I offer tutoring plans, which include benchmarks for learning. I've worked with students of different levels.
