About Дмитрий
Hi, I’m Dmitry (Дмитрий)! Teaching is something I do with real enthusiasm. I’ve taught more than 200 students and given over 2,000 lessons, so I know how to make programming clear, fun, and useful for kids and teens.
Outside of teaching, I’m a very creative person. I love LEGO, and I enjoy building things in all forms, from LEGO sets to code. I’m also a big fan of computer games and of rich fictional universes like Marvel and The Lord of the Rings. I think they’re a great way into programming: many of my students start by wanting to create their own game or a world inspired by their favorite stories, and I love helping them bring those ideas to life. I play the guitar and used to perform with a band, so music is a big part of my life. That experience taught me patience, teamwork, and how to keep practicing until something works, and I bring the same mindset to my lessons.
If you’re looking for a tutor who is professional, friendly, and truly interested in your child’s progress, I’d be happy to meet you. Let’s start with a trial lesson!

Your teaching method and techniques
I teach Python through projects, not through memorizing syntax. Every concept (loops, functions, lists, etc.) is introduced through something the student actually wants to build: a game, a Telegram bot, a small app, a simulation. Students see why the code matters, and they stay motivated.
My approach:
Learning by doing. Short explanation, then the student writes code right away. I use live coding and screen sharing.
Guiding questions instead of ready answers. When a student gets stuck, I help them find the bug themselves. That builds real problem-solving skills and confidence.
Step-by-step progress. Big tasks are split into small wins, so the student regularly feels “I did it.”
A flexible program. I adjust the curriculum to the goals of the student and the parents: school grades, olympiads, a first portfolio, or simply a hobby.
Regular feedback. I keep parents updated on progress and next steps.
A typical lesson plan (60 minutes)
Warm-up (5–10 min): quick review of the previous topic, a small question or mini-task.
New topic (10–15 min): a clear explanation with visual examples and real-life analogies.
Practice (25–30 min): the student writes code with my support. Tasks go from simple to more challenging.
Project time (10 min): the student moves their own project forward (game, bot, etc.).
Wrap-up (5 min): we summarize what was learned, and I give optional homework.
What sets you apart as a tutor
Extensive experience: 200+ students and 2,000+ lessons taught, mostly Python to kids and teens aged 11–16.
I understand how kids think. I know how to explain complex ideas in simple language, keep a young student engaged, and notice when they need a different approach.
Individual approach. I adapt the program to the child’s pace and interests and to the parents’ goals.
Empathy and values. Lessons are a supportive, friendly space. Besides coding, I help students build curiosity, persistence, and a healthy attitude toward mistakes.
Native Russian speaker. I can teach in Russian or English, which is especially comfortable for Russian-speaking families abroad.
Who the lessons are for
Students aged 11–16 (middle school and high school, roughly grades 5–11).
Complete beginners with no prior experience, as well as students who already know the basics and want to go deeper.
Kids who want to create games, bots, and apps and learn programming from scratch.
Students who need support with school computer science or preparation for further study in IT.
Russian-speaking families who prefer lessons in Russian, and English-speaking students too.
