About Thea

I am a passionate singing tutor with over 5 years of experience guiding students toward expressive vocal performance. I hold a Bachelor of Arts in Ethnomusicology (Vocal Traditions), which gives me a deep understanding of vocal styles across cultures. My teaching emphasizes vocal arrangement and harmony creation. I enjoy helping singers design layered vocal textures.

Students explore A Cappella, Pop, Gospel, and R&B styles. Lessons focus on harmony stacking, vocal blending, and counter-melody creation. I also teach arranging techniques and introduce vocal recording ideas. These skills help singers understand how harmonies are built in modern music.

I teach school students, college learners, and aspiring professionals. My lessons include improvisation, composition, music history, and music technology. Each lesson is supportive and creative. About the lesson

My methodology supports singers working with orchestras and instrumental groups. I also guide vocalists interested in exploring different musical styles while maintaining strong ensemble awareness.
