About the lesson
I like to start my teaching by gaining a fundamental understanding of what the student's knowledge base is. Without this understanding it is very difficult to make progress and aid the student in their learning.
After gaining this understanding I aim to explain concepts clearly and concisely, focusing on quality over quantity. Covering lots of material in one go is useless if none of it is absorbed. Teaching through analogy and fundamental concepts rather than abstract ideas is how I like to help students gain understanding.

I have my undergraduate degree in Engineering Physics from Queen's University, and will be attending Stanford University to begin my master's in Aeronautics and Astronautics this fall. This year I have been working for MDA (Canada's premier aerospace company which built the Canadarm for the International Space Station) as a satellite engineer.
I highly recommend Cole as a tutor. He's always been driven to develop his skills as a teacher, and eagerly takes up extra responsibilities such as volunteering at the local animal shelter. He embraces every opportunity for professional development, which makes him an ideal leader.
