About Damith

I'm Damith Danthanarayana, a wildlife, nature, and macro photographer based in Sweden and Sri Lanka. Since 2015, photography has been my passion and profession. My work has been recognized in international competitions such as the Earth Photography Awards, Sony World Photography Competition, and ND Awards, and featured on platforms like BBC Earth and BBC Wildlife Magazine.

I've delivered numerous lectures for international clients and conducted workshops for photography clubs and university students, sharing my expertise in wildlife and macro photography across diverse learning environments.

* Each student can begin with a free 1-hour consultation to discuss goals, equipment, and course customization.
* All packages can be customized based on your interest in wildlife photography, macro photography, or both.

-Package 01 (1 Hour)-
* Introduction to photography.
* Basic techniques & camera settings.
* Magnification & reproduction ratio.
* Introduction to close-up, macro, extreme macro & micro photography.
* Introduction to wildlife photography.
* Overview of equipment & accessories for macro and wildlife photography.

-Package 02 (3 Hours)-
* Includes everything in Package 01 plus:
* One-to-one editing of 3 wildlife/macro/nature photos (your RAW files or mine).
* Advanced Composition Techniques.
* Basics of Lightroom & Photoshop for wildlife/macro.
* Specialized lenses & gear advice.
* Lighting tips & diffuser examples.
* Macro photography calculations & equations.
* Camera settings for wildlife & macro.
* Home macro project ideas.
* Reference materials (PDFs, YouTube links, etc.).

-Package 03 (5 hrs)-
* Includes everything in Packages 01 & 02 plus:
* Focus stacking techniques (Photoshop & Helicon Focus).
* High-magnification macro photography.
* Gear Buying Guide (available on request after completing the order).
* Portfolio Review (Offer feedback on the student's existing work and how to improve it).
* International Competition Guide – advice on how to prepare and submit your work to top wildlife and macro photography contests.
* Best websites & international photographers to follow.
