About Maria
I am a maths tutor with a strong STEM background, holding an MSc in Nuclear Science and Technology from the University of Manchester and a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering. I have two years of private tutoring experience and genuinely enjoy helping students understand and feel confident in mathematics.
I believe that every student can succeed in maths with the right guidance and explanation. My motivation for teaching comes from seeing students overcome challenges, build confidence, and achieve their academic goals.

My lessons are structured, clear, and tailored to each student’s level and learning pace. I have two years of private tutoring experience in mathematics. I teach students from KS3 to GCSE, as well as A-Level topics including algebra, functions, pre-calculus and calculus.
A typical lesson lasts one hour and begins with a review of key concepts, followed by guided practice and problem-solving. I focus on building strong foundations, encouraging logical thinking, and making maths accessible and understandable.
