Consultation lessons are charged at the full lesson price, but with no obligation. My current fee includes travel to students' homes, but within a 5 mile radius of CR0. Further charges may be required for more extensive travel, to be negotiated.
My standard fees are £45 per hour (Summer, 2018) and are non-negotiable.

Current availability is for lessons scheduled on Saturdays (late morning and afternoon). Other availability may be possible during weekday evenings.

My teaching centres on intermediate and advanced level students, focussing on musical expression and musicality. I personalise my approach to the individual student and their particular goals/background.

Steven is friendly, calm and so knowledgeable about music. He will also go the extra mile. We were thrilled when Steven said he would play the piano at our wedding, he even travelled to Leicester! His knowledge and experience meant that he could adapt a piece to perfectly fit with the venue and logistics. It was such a special part of our day.
My daughter learned with Steven. He gave her a wonderful experience of music. He's reliable, exceptionally talented, and patient. Would highly recommend.
