About Rikin
I'm a sophomore at UC Santa Cruz, graduate from EVHS in the Bay area.
I've been in many management positions in my life, and I treat being a tutor like just having a conversation with a friend. Instead of 'doing homework', I refer to each tutoring session as a step towards a goal: something I'd set with my studnets before each session.
It could be getting a good test grade, increasing an overall grade, getting up to speed in class (if a student is behind), etc

Hi,
What stands me out from other tutors is that I'm great at analyzing how students are thinking to get the answers they get.
When a student gets a problem incorrect, I make it a goal to find out where they got that answer from, so I can make sure to find the exact issue in their thought process/work process. Being a student myself, I can understand students' frustration.
I'm also very experinced, having tutored all school subjects along with Computer Science and LD Debate since I was a sophomore in high school.
