About Amina
I am an A level Religious Studies student who also studies History and Sociology therefore I am confident in essay writing which is key in passing GCSE RS. I received a grade 9 which only 2% of the county got therefore I believe I can help others achieve high as I have kept my annotated textbooks and my detailed notes which helped me to achieve the grade I did.

I approach each topic by testing children on what they already know, from this I deduce what children are confident on and what they may need more help in. I use videos and textbooks as well as small anecdotes in order to enhance children’s understanding. Furthermore, I teach according to the specification ensuring children are aware of what they are expected to learn and I also practice a great amount of exam techniques. I have attended a lot of conferences so I am able to inform the students what the examiners are looking out for. In addition to this, I encourage students to engage in debates and to vocalise their views as in Religious Studies and Sociology there is no right and wrong answer, both sides have to be argued.

Ever since I picked RE for GCSE I found it quite difficult. After getting level 3 in my mocks my teacher decided to do one to one teaching with me however it wasnt very effective and I was not making sufficient progress. I looked online for some tutoring and I came across Amina. She was very patient and she explained things in ways I was able to understand. She was always encouraging and I would recommend her to anyone who is struggling with RE or who wants to improve their grade to the highest they can get. Thanks to her I was able to get a 6 in my GCSE RE and go into 6 form.
