About Lola
I’m a friendly, patient and approachable math tutor who enjoys helping students become more confident in a subject that can sometimes feel difficult or overwhelming. I understand that everyone learns differently, so I aim to explain things clearly and in a way that makes sense to each individual student.
I want to teach because I love seeing the moment when something that seemed complicated finally clicks. I believe that with the right explanation, practice and encouragement, every student can improve their math skills. My goal is to create a comfortable environment where students feel confident asking questions, making mistakes and learning at their own pace.

My approach to tutoring is to make maths feel less intimidating by breaking difficult topics down into clear, manageable steps. Rather than simply giving students the answer, I focus on helping them understand the process and why each step works.
I tailor each lesson to the student’s individual needs, whether they need help with the basics, are struggling with a particular topic, want extra practice or are preparing for an important exam. I encourage students to work through problems themselves while providing guidance whenever they need it. My aim is to build both mathematical ability and confidence, so students leave each lesson feeling that they understand the material better than when they started.
