About Talha

Hello, I am Talha, a Computer Science student at the University of North Georgia, who has a deep passion for helping others achieve success, and loves teaching and technology. In addition to studying, I am also working on my Google Data Analytics Certificate and am working in an internship within the software industry, which has helped to keep my technical background sharp and up to date.

I am always believing that it's more significant to know the "why" of a concept than memorize answers. My belief in tutoring is that I'm not helping students get through assignments, I am helping them learn to learn the material so they are confidently able to use it independently.

I am patient, reliable and I am very committed to the growth of all students that I work with. I will be well prepared, well-dressed and ready to help you succeed whether you are a parent seeking academic assistance from me or a student seeking to enhance your abilities.

About the lesson

My lessons are structured to help even the most intimidating concepts be simple and approachable. I am a Computer Science student at the University of North Georgia where I am also a tutor for Math, Algebra, Science, and Intro to Computer Science for students from middle school all the way up to early college.

I do not believe that anyone is a "typical" student, and offer the individual session customized to the student's style of learning. The typical lesson begins with a careful assessment of the precise point at which the student is getting stuck, then proceeds through the concept piece-by-piece, ending in actual practice problems until it's finally understood.

The thing that makes me unique is that I am patient and clear. I do not make students feel bad if they do not understand, I find a way to explain until they understand. I also have a tech savvy approach to every class, employing visual aids and contemporary illustrations to make content relevant and memorable.

I will help make learning less stressful and more effective for your child whether he/she is having trouble catching up, is looking to get ahead or is preparing for an exam. I just want to inspire confidence and understanding...not just get homework done.
