Clem Browne is an excellent tutor who was a big help in GCSE Maths.
This was a subject that I struggled with and my initial result was a D-grade.
Clem uses a calm, structured approach that helped me gain an understanding of mathematics, as well as teaching me some approaches to use in terms of exam technique. Overall his patient and supportive approach helped me achieve a B-grade.

Clem is a very experienced teacher who is particularly adept at tailoring work to each student’s particular strengths and weaknesses. He is enthusiastic about his subject and communicates complex concepts with clarity, in a way that is easy for his student to both understand and remember. He also has experience of working with young people with challenging behaviour and learning difficulties and is therefore able to effectively teach students of all abilities.
Clem has taught my son GCSE maths and science for the past two years. Although my son is bright he has severe dyslexia and had become disengaged from education. Clem has engaged him fully and raised his level of work in both subjects considerably. He has high expectations of his students and this has encouraged my son to work hard and stretch himself. He has also given helpful advice about exam preparation and has been very accommodating when planning lesson times.
I am very impressed with the quality of Clem’s teaching and am very happy to recommend him as a tutor.
