About Xiomara
My name is Xiomara, and I am passionate about sharing the joy of music through teaching. As a guitarist who's been playing for over 10 years and has over a year of professional teaching experience, I have had the privilege of working with diverse groups of students, from energetic fifth-graders in classroom settings to dedicated individuals in private after-school lessons. My approach to teaching focuses on fostering a love for music while providing a solid foundation in guitar technique and musical theory. I strive to create a supportive and engaging learning environment where students can explore their musical interests, develop their skills to reach their full potential, and of course, to have fun! I am excited to work with you soon!

I believe in tailoring each session to the student's musical tastes and interests, whether it's pop, jazz, R&B, or anything in between. We'll explore their favorite songs, learn catchy melodies, and delve into the techniques used by their musical inspirations. From strumming chords to intricate fingerpicking, every lesson is designed to keep students engaged and inspired. Together, we'll unlock their musical potential and create a learning experience that's as unique as their own musical journey!
