About Lohasiry
I have successfully completed my A-Levels (Band 7 and above for all subjects), IGCSE and Ontario Secondary School Diploma with an average of 85% and am currently pursuing my bachelor’s degree at a UK university. I also took A Levels in Business, Sociology, and English Language, achieving high bands in both IGCSE and A Level Sociology. As a native English speaker who is highly familiar with the Cambridge marking style, I bring a clear understanding of what examiners look for and how to excel in assessments. Beyond academics, I am deeply passionate about communication and leadership. I have been actively involved in public speaking and debate for several years, chairing Model United Nations (MUN) conferences nationwide and guiding younger delegates through the art of persuasive and confident speaking. Combining strong academic foundations with real-world experience, I aim to make my classes both insightful and empowering. My students learn not only the content they need to succeed but also the confidence, clarity, and critical thinking skills that extend far beyond the classroom.

In my classes, I focus on creating a comfortable, friendly, and supportive learning environment. I’m naturally good with kids and have been teaching students English and helping them improve their public speaking skills for the past 4 years. I always aim to build my students’ confidence while making lessons fun and engaging. My teaching style is adaptable, I carefully adjust my lesson plans according to each student’s learning pace, strengths, and needs. Whether you or your child is shy, energetic, or somewhere in between, I make sure the lessons suit their personality and learning style. In my classes, I use a mix of interactive learning materials such as short stories, videos, role-playing activities, games, and speaking exercises to keep students interested and motivated. I also incorporate writing tasks and vocabulary-building exercises to strengthen their foundation in English.
