About Yasmeen

I have been in supply chain for the last ten years and used math every day in my career. I have experience in tutoring students in math. I have also led classes and designed summer camp programs. My passion is to help you reach your goals!

About the lesson

I strive to create a supportive learning environment by combining empathy and a holistic approach in my tutoring sessions. I make an effort to understand each student’s unique challenges, strengths, and goals, tailoring my teaching methods to meet their individual needs. By considering not just academic progress but also their emotional well-being and personal growth, I aim to help students build confidence, resilience, and a love for learning.

I teach math to elementary and high school aged students. So a typical lesson plan would be to understand the student's strengths, weaknesses, and learning style (audio, visual, etc.).
I use real world examples in teaching mathematics since my professional experience uses math. This makes learning more fun and easier to relate to. I like to have the student's course materials before the session to help anticipate the needs of the student.
