About Zoe
"Having walked the halls of Trinity Laban Conservatoire, I often view music through a lens of classical structure. My interest in guitar pedagogy stems from a desire to bridge the gap between complex theory and practical application. Whether a student is struggling with chord transitions or complex improvisation and soloing, I provide a calm environment.
I work extensively with performance-focused students who need to refine their acoustic technique or electric technique. Ear training and reading tabs are essential components I emphasise for intermediate learners. It remains a quiet pursuit for me."

"Good instruction requires a balance of patience and rigorous discipline when tackling scales and modes. Tuning and maintenance are the first things I cover because a neglected instrument creates unnecessary frustration for the player.
My lessons are shaped by 13 years of experience and the formal training I received while earning my Bachelor of Music in Vocal Performance. I push students towards excellence in grade exam prep because it provides a tangible measure of their development.
We dedicate time to the nuances of melody and rhythm through a variety of exercises. You will find that my approach to teaching guitar is as precise as my classical background suggests. The development of your musical identity is my primary focus.
We move past basic habits to establish lasting facility on the fretboard. This is how you reach your goals."
