About Viet Hung
I am a university student who has been playing chess for 9 years. I have studied under chess masters, been part of local tournament winning teams. I have a year's worth of teaching experience in music, but am looking to branch out to teaching chess to beginners or for kids wanting to get into chess! I am around a 1600 rated player, so I will teach as much as I possibly can!

-I teach students from 5-17 years old.
-I like demonstrating everything over the board, and like mixing in theory with practicality.
-I'll start from the very beginning of teaching how to play the game, and build up from there. As the student progresses, creativity will be key. Lessons will include some basic theory, problem solving and application in games.
-The most important thing for me though is that the student has fun!
-Physical or online lessons are all okay, depending on COVID restrictions.
