About Matteo
With 8 years of experience in teaching and professional work, I have built a strong and rewarding journey as a piano tutor. I teach school and college students, guiding them carefully from beginner level to confident performance stage. My passion for music and education inspires me to give my best in every lesson.
I believe piano learning is not only about playing correct notes but also about developing discipline, patience, and creativity. Over the years, I have helped many students grow from basic learners into expressive pianists who can perform with confidence. One of the most meaningful milestones in my career was preparing students for school annual day programmes and watching them perform proudly in front of large audiences.
I focus on building strong foundations such as proper posture, finger technique, rhythm control, and music reading skills. I create structured lesson plans while adapting to each student’s learning pace. My classroom atmosphere is positive, supportive, and motivating. Teaching piano is not just my profession; it is my passion and my commitment to shaping confident and creative individuals through music.

My piano teaching philosophy emphasises long-term growth, technical proficiency, and artistic development. I begin by assessing each student’s abilities and goals, then create a personalised lesson plan that combines technical exercises, scale and chord practice, rhythm drills, and song interpretation.
Motivation plays a central role; I encourage regular practice, celebrate achievements, and provide guidance to overcome challenges. Communication is clear and detailed, helping students understand note reading, hand coordination, tempo, dynamics, phrasing, and expressive interpretation.
Integrity ensures lessons are punctual, structured, and honest, with continuous feedback to track progress. Creativity is nurtured through improvisation, composing simple melodies, and experimenting with musical expression. Alongside piano, I also teach sight reading, ear training, and music theory for comprehensive musical development.
