About Kenny
My mission as a trumpet teacher is to provide every student with the knowledge, confidence, and encouragement needed to achieve lasting musical success. I believe that every learner progresses at a different pace, so I carefully adapt my teaching methods to suit each student's strengths, experience, and aspirations.
Lessons begin with the essential fundamentals of breathing, posture, embouchure development, articulation, tone production, rhythm, scales, note reading, and finger coordination before expanding into advanced techniques including flexibility, endurance, range development, lip slurs, expressive phrasing, dynamics, sight reading, orchestral literature, jazz improvisation, and solo performance.
Alongside technical instruction, I incorporate music theory, ear training, listening exercises, performance preparation, and practical practice strategies that help students become complete musicians. I am dedicated to creating a supportive atmosphere where students feel inspired to learn, overcome challenges, and enjoy every step of their musical journey.

I provide comprehensive trumpet lessons that combine technical excellence with creative musical development for learners of all ages. Every lesson is carefully structured according to the student's experience level, musical interests, and long term objectives.
Beginners develop a strong foundation through breathing exercises, embouchure control, articulation, posture, rhythm, note reading, scales, and tone production. Intermediate students strengthen flexibility, endurance, phrasing, sight reading, dynamics, and musical expression, while advanced learners explore orchestral repertoire, jazz improvisation, solo literature, advanced articulation, ensemble performance, and audition preparation.
I also teach music theory, ear training, listening skills, and effective practice methods that enable students to become confident, independent musicians capable of performing with accuracy and expression.
