About Armia

I am a certified teacher holding a Master of Teaching degree and a Bachelor of Honors in Biology and Psychology with additional qualifications in high school math.

My academic background allows me to tailor my lessons to how students naturally learn, process, and retain information. I am passionate about helping middle and high school students build strong study skills to become lifelong learners.

Rather than pushing for temporary memorization, I focus on clear communication, visual tools, game-based learning and building study habits that help students succeed long after our sessions end.

About the lesson

As a Master of Teaching graduate, I don't rely on rote memorization; instead, I break down abstract Math and Science theories into relatable, real-world examples that match your specific learning style.

By understanding how the brain processes information, I can quickly pinpoint learning gaps, build foundational confidence, and teach you sustainable study habits.

• Diagnostic Assessment: I begin by identifying your specific strengths and academic blind spots.
• Scaffolded Learning: I break complex topics down into small, easily digestible steps.
• Dual Coding: I combine visual models, diagrams, and verbal explanations to deepen your understanding.
• Guided Practice: We tackle problems together until you are ready to solve them independently.
• Metacognitive Checks: I teach you how to think about your own thinking, turning you into a self-sufficient learner.
