About Yvan

I've always wanted to teach others, to share my passion for my personal interests, and help others develop their skills and raise curiosity for all sorts of topics that tickle my own curiosity.

I grew up surrounded around many different languages, Russian at home, French in school, German and English in language classes, but also Luxembourgish in my homeland, and I completely understand that languages aren't easy and quick to assimilate.

But I'm very keen on making it feel like you're progressing and that the learning curve starts right away, but making the lessons about you and what you want to learn.

Besides languages and their respective cultures, I'm very passionate about Films, Art, Painting.

About the lesson

Through a step by step approach, we can assess your level and determine our objectives together : I want our lessons to feel personal and adapted to you, your personal interests and needs.

I can teach the language's most essential basics, to more advanced accent work, all going through grammar, vocabulary, centred around what your passions are.

I come from a multicultural background, where I spoke Russian at home and French outside, and I completely understand how hard and daunting learning a language can be, but I'm here to make it feel easier, smoother and fun!
