About Binh
I teach Leveraging Artificial Intelligence for Business Transformation at RMIT University, where I have been a sessional academic since 2017. That course asks exactly the question this listing is about: what a business should do with AI, not just which buttons to press.
I am also a software engineer. I have worked inside Australian universities since 2013, first at RMIT and now at Swinburne University of Technology, building and supporting the systems large organizations run on every day. That side of my work is why I can tell you what an AI tool is really doing underneath, what it costs to run properly, and what has to sit around it before you let it near customer or staff information.
My qualifications are a Master of Data Science with Distinction and a Bachelor of Business in Business Information Systems, both from RMIT University. I hold Professional Scrum Master II, and I am a part-time PhD candidate in Information Systems at RMIT researching machine learning and cybersecurity for critical infrastructure.
I teach this the way I teach it at university: evidence first, hype last. My aim is that you end up needing me less, not more. Lessons in English or Vietnamese, and I hold a current Working With Children Check.

Most AI training either stops at "here are ten prompts" or jumps straight to a transformation strategy nobody can actually implement. I teach the part in between, in three layers, and we go as far up as you need.
Layer one, your own work. The tasks in your week that AI genuinely shortens: drafting and rewriting, summarizing long documents, first-pass analysis, preparing for a difficult meeting, turning scattered notes into something you can send. How to write a request that gets a usable answer, and how to check that answer when you are not the expert on the topic.
Layer two, your team. Which of your recurring processes are worth automating and which are not. How to write down a way of working so that five people produce the same quality of output instead of five different ones. How to teach staff who are nervous about it, and how to handle the staff member who is already using AI badly and quietly.
Layer three, the business. Where AI fits in your operations and where it does not belong. What to keep human, and why some decisions have to stay that way for legal and reputational reasons. Privacy and confidentiality: what actually happens to information your staff paste into a public tool, and what should be in place before they do. How to choose tools without being sold to. And how to measure honestly whether any of it saved you money, because plenty of it does not.
Who this is for: business owners, managers and team leaders, and professionals who want to be the person in the office who genuinely understands this rather than repeating headlines. No technical background is assumed and there is no coding.
How it runs: online by webcam, 60 minutes by default, 90 minutes for a working session on a real process. We use your business, your documents and your bottlenecks rather than case studies from a textbook. After each session I send a written summary of what we built, so it does not evaporate. Lessons in English or Vietnamese.
Your first lesson is free, and we use it to work out what would genuinely be worth your time. I will also tell you where AI is a poor fit for your business. That is often the most valuable hour we spend together.
