About Hussam
I am Hussam Othman, and the reason I want to teach is because, when I was going through primary, and intermediate school, I was very academically challenged, I would struggle with basic reading, writing, and arithmetic. My teachers would try to make an effort, but although I really tried they would just give up on me. This is why I want to tutor/teach so kids who are in my position have someone they can relate to, understand, and don't give up on them, so that they can excel in all aspects in their education.

I believe in order to teach effectively you must make a connection with who you are studying with, allow them to open up to you so that you can figure out their needs. Furthermore, it is consistency and hard work that enable someone to excel in any aspect/area, this is because when I was little I was not the brightest of students but after consistent hard work I have become one of the top 15 academic year 11s in New Plymouth Boy’s High School. A typical length of a lesson would be 1 hour. I have experience teaching at a Sunday school, helping kids learn how to read Arabic, and speak. Furthermore, I am a black belt in martial arts and teach other students moves, techniques, and life skills. The lessons I intend on giving are for years 1-11 (5 - 16).
