About John

I am passionate about supporting young people to achieve their academic goals. I love teaching sociology as well as the Extended Project Qualification (EPQ).

My aim is to build confidence in individuals by equipping them with excellent knowledge, understanding and exam skills that will enhance achievement.

I am engaging and personable. I enjoy making sessions meaningful and interesting.

Outside of the classroom, I enjoy watching and playing football, taking my daughter to gymnastics and seeing family and friends.

About the lesson

I am an experienced and engaging teacher who has worked across the education sector including University lecturing.

I aim to tailor my lessons around the student's needs and preferences. I am flexible in my approach and come prepared with a wealth of resources that have been used to successfully guide hundreds of students through their Sociology A level

I have created booklets for every Sociology topic within the Families and Households, Education, Beliefs, Crime and Research Methods. Furthermore, revision resources can be applied to students to complete outside of our time together.

Length of sessions can be variable depending on what works for the student. am
