About Shantelle
"Years spent performing on stage and in the studio led me directly into full-time music instruction. Piano is my primary language.
I teach absolute beginners alongside advanced learners and performance-focused students. Ten years of teaching has refined my ability to simplify complex ideas. My Master of Music from Melbourne Conservatorium of Music shapes how I view technique. Hand independence and posture are vital for longevity.
I focus on dynamics, expression, rhythm, and timing to build solid musicianship. Let us prepare your hands to play the music you hear in your head."

"How do you feel when your fingers finally connect with the keys in perfect time? I organize sessions to include sight playing, chord voicing, and scales. Classical repertoire provides the foundation for our theory work. We track progress through your ability to sight transpose melodies.
You gain confidence through consistent practice of arpeggios. My degree informs the way I explain difficult concepts. I keep sessions practical so results are audible immediately. Progress happens when the mechanics become second nature.
You will notice the difference in your tone after a few weeks. It feels like a natural evolution of your own musical voice."
