About Maria
I am a Software Engineering Student currently on track for a First class Degree,
I am also a teching assistant for python fundamentals, computer architecture and algorithms at the University of Leicester.
I currently teach between 40-90 students, I have helped struggling students, gain 2:1 grades and above.

I prefer practical teaching, getting the students to be as involved as possible. I hate the word 'lecture', and you will see that the structure of my classes are anything but a regular class.
If you have never coded before I will walk you through installing everything you need to get up and running. By the end of our first lesson you will have built a small fun program!
I find goals and milestones very important, by the end of each lesson (or 2) you will have created something whilst learning an important programming concept.
I will not just teach you how to program in python. I will teach you how to think like a programmer and where to find resources for help.
I highly encourage you to message me before booking, this way i can assess you competency level and tailor the classes so that we both maximise the usage of our time.
My goal is that, by the end of our time together, if you choose to learn another language, you haveno hesitation at all and can confidently go about learning with the free resources I will have taught you about!
