About Harsh
Why did I choose to teach?
I’m currently in FY, and I’ve been teaching Maths for the past 3 years.
My reason for teaching is quite personal. As a student, there were many things I wished I had received — someone who would patiently explain my doubts, understand where I was struggling, guide me beyond just the textbook, and make me believe that I was capable of more. I didn’t always receive those things. And maybe that is exactly why I chose to become a teacher. I want to give my students what I once wished I had. I want them to have a teacher they can ask questions to without hesitation. Someone who doesn’t just teach the answer, but explains the “why” behind it. Someone who notices when they are struggling and helps them move forward.
For me, teaching isn’t just about completing a chapter or preparing for an exam.
It’s about making sure that my students don’t feel the gaps that I once felt.
I’m still a student. I’m still learning.
But for the last 3 years, I’ve been sharing everything I know with the students I teach.
Because sometimes, the teacher you become is shaped by the teacher you once needed.
