Chess is a life-changing game. It teaches 3 key life skills in equal measure:

Playing for Scotland Juniors from U12 to U18 taught me that keeping chess engaging is a non-negotiable for progress.
So, over my 5 years of chess tutoring experience, my methodology has always remained the same: make the fundamentals, fun.
I can teach chess to children of ages 5 to 17, and up to grade 1600. Lesson lengths vary between 45 minutes and 2 hours dependant on availability and ability of student.
