About Sam
My name is Sam, and I am going to University to become a teacher! I am really passionate about teaching and learning, and I want to share the joy that I have about that with you!
I really struggled when I was in school, so I know exactly what it's like to feel like everything is just too far and too difficult, and I understand the frustration of not understanding when it seems like you just "should". I want to take the frustration and discomfort out of your experience with education and provide you with the tools you need to love school as much as I do (now)!

In my lessons I offer support, I like to teach students how to learn and how to love learning - especially in subjects they are struggling with. My timeframe is flexible but I prefer at least a 30 minute timeslot and if lessons exceed an hour that will involve a 5 minute break (for the benefit of my students).
I am currently completing a degree in Primary school teaching, so my expertise lies in years 1-8. As part of my degree I work in classrooms and provide a lot of 1 on 1 care to a diverse range of students, and am passionate about supporting their learning and leaving them with skills and an excitement about school that they can use for a lifetime.
My lessons are very student driven, I like to see what they can do by themselves so that I can see exactly where the gaps are and what it is that needs to be worked on - then chip away with small activities and manageable levels of practice and confidence building activities.in
